Description

Toxta is an advanced Botulinum toxin type A, manufactured in South Korea by JETEMA Co. Approved by the KFDA, Toxta is used for treating forehead lines, glabellar lines, crow’s feet, and can also be applied to masseter muscles. This product is a fine powder that needs to be diluted with 0.9% saline before injection. Toxta helps to relax wrinkles caused by muscle movements, reducing their appearance and preventing new wrinkles from forming. Results can typically be observed after 5-14 days and can last up to 4 months.

• Dilution: Add 2.5 ml of 0.9% saline to achieve 4U/0.1ml
• Treatment Protocol: 
  • Inject 0.1 ml per injection point using a 30G needle in the corrugator muscles and the procerus muscle (total of 5 points for 20U of Botulinum toxin).
  • Toxta 100U can also be used for masseter muscle injections to manage teeth grinding and jaw clenching and to help contour the jawline.
• Instructions for Dilution:

1. 1. Take the vial out of the refrigerator and inspect it. The vial should be colorless and transparent with a small amount of white/light yellow freeze-dried powder.
   2. Slowly add 2.5 ml of 0.9% saline using a syringe.
   3. Gently swirl the vial to mix, avoiding excessive shaking.
   4. Keep the reconstituted product in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours (research shows it remains stable for up to 4 weeks).
